As a pioneer in the future of solar innovation, Arm welcomes Exeger to its Partner Program which serves as a resource for customers to easily find the most suitable technology partners for their business needs.
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – JANUARY 10, 2024 – Exeger, the Swedish deep tech company behind the revolutionary solar cell technology Powerfoyle™, today announces it has joined the Arm® Partner Program.
Exeger has become the first solar cell provider to join Arm’s global partner program, and the two companies have a strong shared vision around the importance of enabling a more sustainable future through technology.
Exeger enables brands with the tools they need to build innovative products that harness clean and renewable energy. Its groundbreaking solar cell technology, Powerfoyle, is a flexible and resilient photovoltaic cell which converts all forms of light – both artificial indoor and natural outdoor – into clean, endless energy.
By integrating Powerfoyle into devices, customers can address some of the biggest challenges in IoT development by enabling electronics manufacturers to offer devices with prolonged or even eternal battery life. Consequently, IoT manufacturers can offer innovative products that operate reliably and robustly even without a battery and in the lowest of lighting conditions, and potentially eliminate the need for disposable batteries altogether.
“As a member of the Arm Partner Program, Exeger will be able to support the world’s leading developers to build next-generation solar powered solutions.”
Kevin Ryan, Senior Director, Partner Ecosystem Marketing at Arm
Oscar Hemberg, Chief Product Integration Officer at Exeger says, “We are thrilled to partner with Arm. This collaboration is a testament to our shared vision and commitment to a more sustainable and innovative world. At Exeger we aim to make it simple for brands to offer lower-power solutions that not only benefit consumers by providing them with improved power efficiency, but also help companies reduce high maintenance costs.”
“There is a growing demand for more solar powered solutions across the IoT market,” said Kevin Ryan, Senior Director, Partner Ecosystem Marketing at Arm. “As a member of the Arm Partner Program, Exeger will be able to support the world’s leading developers to build next-generation solar powered solutions.”
To offer increasingly comprehensive solutions, Exeger has partnered with leading companies within its field to create low-power solutions which utilize Arm technology. At CES, Exeger is showcasing solar-powered products, including audio products based on the Arm Cortex-M chipset, such as Adidas RPT-02 SOL headphones and Urbanista Malibu speaker, and the Nordic Thingy:91 with Solar Shield, a platform that uses Arm Cortex-M4 and Cortex-M33, which are well suited for asset tracking applications.
